In 1987, the Builders Exchange was formed as a not-for-profit organization at the request of area general contractors, sub-contractors, and suppliers. The Exchange offers its members information about, as well as convenient access to: plans, specs, and addenda for projects that are out for bid in southern Minnesota, western Wisconsin, and northern Iowa.

When Architects, Engineers, and Construction Managers provide projects to the Exchange, it makes it easier for contractors to bid that project. It also makes it easier on the provider, by offering a central location for area projects to be reviewed.
